Ana Dominguez-Lombard (born in 1974 in Veracruz, Mexico) studied at the Arte AC Institute in Monterrey from 1994 to 1997, where she earned a BA in graphic design. While establishing her graphic design
studio, she also pursued her passion for photography professionally and moved to Europe to further develop her skills at ECAL. Noora Kulvik (born in 1979 in Helsinki, Finland) studied at the Parsons School of Art and Design between Paris and New York, obtaining a BFA in fine arts in 2001. After her studies, she developed her artistic
career through ceramics and painting, incorporating photography into her work. She worked independently on the international art scene until 2015, when she and Ana decided to join forces to collaborate
primarily in photography.

Since 2016, Ana D & Noora K have exhibited their work in Switzerland and internationally. In their series, Ana D & Noora K explore the relationship between living beings and natural resources, illustrating the growing disconnection between humanity and the environment.

Through their images, they seek to raise awareness and draw attention to contemporary issues
such as overconsumption and the human impact on the planet.

Their subtle and poetic visual language is based on the interplay of movement and transparency, which they capture through photography.

In addition to traditional photographic printing, they incorporate lenticular printing, a medium that allows them not only to emphasize the message inspired by the quote "Be the change you wish to see in
the world" but also to add a new dimension to the energy they capture in their images. Expressing themselves through photography, video, and mixed media, they bring to life "Spinning Nature", an introspective journey highlighting the urgency of maintaining a fragile balance between humanity and natural resources. For them, the symbiosis between human behavior and the Earth's ecosystem is at risk and calls for immediate awareness. Through their art, Ana D & Noora K denounce the aggression suffered by nature, natural resources, and humanity as a direct consequence of our actions.
